I prefer to like the main players of a story–especially the heroines, and bleinda came across as one. I had read a few of Belinda Alexandra’s novels but this one was, by far, the most enthralling so far. Includes a mystery too. Wonderfully drawn characters- a really well c I love books that educate you on certain historical eras and introduce you to the sights and sounds alexajdra different countries from the comfort of your own armchair.

I felt so moved by the story that takes place in the 30s in Barcelona beliinda was in tears by the end of the book.
